At the Metabolic Terrain Institute of Health (MTIH), we’ve witnessed the life-changing impact of the Metabolic Approach to Cancer. Patients like Dale, who faced a rare and aggressive Stage 4 cancer diagnosis, have shared how this approach transformed their healing journey.
Dale’s Story: Finding Hope and Healing
Dale spent years in the fitness and nutrition field, exercising regularly and eating what she thought was a healthy diet. Cancer never crossed her mind. But when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 carcinoma, her world was turned upside down. Her doctors told her the cancer was incurable and that she had maybe a year to live.
Desperate for answers, Dale dove into research, determined to save her life. She tried implementing everything she read, but without guidance, it felt like “trying to catch bubbles before they burst.” Then she discovered The Metabolic Approach to Cancer, and suddenly, everything changed.
Armed with a clear and organized path, Dale began evaluating her internal terrain, uncovering the root causes of her cancer, and addressing them systematically. As she puts it:
"Once you know your own body, your terrain, and uncover where the imbalances are, you can begin to address them. This system is brilliant; it makes so much sense, and I owe my life to this approach—and to Dr. Nasha."
Supporting Access to Transformative Care
Dale’s journey is a testament to the power of the metabolic approach to health, but not everyone has the resources to access this care. That’s why MTIH provides patient grants, ensuring more individuals can receive the life-changing support they need to thrive. These grants offer financial assistance to patients working with Terrain-trained practitioners and advocates, helping them begin or continue their treatment.
Patient grants provide a lifeline to individuals with a cancer diagnosis working with practitioners and advocates in the Terrain Network. By addressing the unique needs of each patient, this care focuses on uncovering root causes and restoring balance to the body’s internal terrain.
