Alan A. Katz, MD, FUHM, FACEP, FAAEM
Doctor Katz is double board-certified in both Hyperbaric and Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society, the American College of Emergency Physicians, and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. Currently, Dr. Katz directs clinical operations, as well as education and research initiatives for Hyperbaric Medical Solutions (HMS), which is a free-standing hyperbaric medical practice with locations in New York City, Long Island, Boston and Fort Lauderdale. His stated goal is to educate all, including policymakers, insurers, and other medical leaders about the benefits of hyperbaric oxygen, the needs and methods for further research, and the increased opportunities for the expanded use of HBOT. In his practice he regularly incorporates the use of hyperbaric oxygen into a comprehensive treatment plan when combating cancer.
